Which Came First: The Genre or Your Project?

I'm confident people will be honest enough here. Your current Witch House project; did you create it after being inspired by a WH artist or did it already exist and just end up fitting into the WH scene? I myself started Teacake about a year ago, but it was more a means of creating something that em...

3. Please, no obvious trolling - As much fun as Witchbook topics are, they don't provide a whole lot of worthwhile content for this board. Let's keep this place as positive as possible and as helpful/useful as possible. 4. No "Look at how I can make random symbols that mean nothing"...

Re: This is Jungle... not Drum & Bass. BOH!

Alas I am far too young and good looking to have been buying records at the time but I also have a big soft spot for the jungle. Think there must be quite a few of us on here given the amount hardcore/rave drag remixes around. Fav has to be Dillinja's remix of Azura by 808 State just for the mad-as...

This is Jungle... not Drum & Bass. BOH!

Anyone else have a soft spot for Golden Age mid-to-late 90s Jungle? My first taste was sweet and I still get weak in knees when I hear that chopped up Amen and that resampled 808 kick bass. The first record I owned was a Jungle press, and it remains my favorite genre of all time to date. Anyone else...

Found this on a design blog I frequent. Is this for reals or did someone just steal the cover image not realizing the symbol is actually someone's logo?

Re: Turn/edit a song to witch-house? ( GarageBand)

You'd probably be better off simply pitching down the acapella (the vocal track) of the song. This would allow you to write your own instrumentals for it and produce something unique.

Along with pitching down and add verb, delay can be really neat.
