this is sort of a conundrum. on one hand the artists who's name he's selling isn't receiving anything directly monetary from his products and has no say/creative control in the designs. on the other hand what they are getting is free publicity. the person wearing the clothing is now a walking billbo...

i used to read the sandman comics and go to sleep playing them out in my head as 'movies' and continue with the scenarios in my own direction. provided some awesome dreams for myself. love that comic.
