I think by now I figured out what are those things that doesn't quite work in the music and in the video, but I'd like to hear your opinion too. Thanks!

Re: Finding witch-y samples
I get the biggest mental block when trying to find useful, nice sounding samples. Fear not my friend, for your fellow cultist is here to help. As a teenager I used to make video games and I realized that good sound effects makes any game a lot better. And to be honest, it was the only thing I could...

Re: Favourite sample packs?
There are one great samplepack on tpb called "Vintage Drum Machine Samples". This! I also use Vengeance's electro and house pack, which has nothing to do with witch house, but I love heavy kicks and snares so those are good for me. And you know. If you hear a good sample in a movie, a vid...

Re: Witch house and production HELP!!!!
Copying artists is just wrong so work out your own style. I think it is not. I learnt a lot by trying to copy certain songs. In the end, I never managed to really copy the song, due to my lack of skills and understanding of music theory. Here's the thing. While you are trying to copy a song, you'll...

Re: Softwares for beginners
Which of them is easy and good for a n00b? (like, totally noob, never touched a software like this, except for Audacity and didn't really got how to use that) Listen here my friend. Here comes my best advice. Get yourself a friend who makes electronic music. Go to electronic music forums, events, i...

Re: Program to make witch house
Which is the best program? Which is the best car? Which is the best music? There are no answers to these questions. If you look into electronic music you'll find that each DAWs has thousands of users who make amazing music with that DAW. So don't worry about it. If you ask people everyone will tell ...

Re: My Stuff/Singer
Why don't you make the vocals too? It is witch house, so you shouldn't worry if you are not a good singer. You can distort your voice into oblivion. Apply some delay, then reverb, than more delay, then a shitload of reverb, then pitch it down, timestretch, use a vocoder, eq it, add some more distort...

Re: Witch House Synth!
You can use any synths, but if you don't know where to start, look into vintage synths. On vstplanet you can find quite a few free vintage vst synths that are good. Once you found a good enough synth, you have to make it a bit more "witchy". You can do this by removing the lower frequencie...
