i think it's great if it is opening people up to those directions and welcoming people already coming from them, along with all the other things it's doing.

some people making "witch house" now are actually just making old school influenced industrial, and i think a lot of the major people are aware of it.. but since a lot of people never were into it, the ones being marketed to, they think it's super hot & new!

yea as soon as i heard the Audrey track i wanted to do somethin with it, all the current attention on twin peaks motivated me to actually do it since a bunch of the fans seem to have crawled out of the woodwork......

bitten, maybe, who knows... but there are so many shared aesthetics in this scene that it's kinda just the nature of using someone else's shit to begin with, i.e. found footage. now if you had got yr own bitches to dance around and salem jacked that, that'd be fucked up ^+^

i do see a potential similarity in the developments, depending on how witch house turns out. at the beginning dubstep was actually pretty like how witch house is now, the exact sound & vibe parameters were far less codified than what someone like Skrillex for example represents. in 5 years witch...
