Hermetech Mastering

Apologies in advance for the spam, but as I am offering something for free, I am hoping that will sweeten the pill. ;) I haven't posted here in a while, but I have been following the forum threads. I know I'm a bit late to the game, but I have REALLY been enjoying the début Balam Acab album recently...

Re: Coil

Yes, the new Cyclobe album, "Wounded Galaxies Tap At The Window", has just been released on CD and is amazing. I have the limited vinyl release from a few months ago. I also like Thigps, my fave probably being the ambient stuff he did back with Julian Cope, although his Kosmiche Music cont...

Re: Coil

Yep, I recently ordered a few prints from Ian and they are now gracing my studio wall!

I hope the Coil back catalogue is kept in print, it's such an astounding legacy to leave behind, it really does deserve to be widely accessible.

Re: Korg Monotron

Well, it's not like I bought it over night... Took me around eight years to get it to where it is now, I started with just one module. That's the beauty with modulars really, smallish initial outlay (a rack, power supply and maybe one or two modules), and then you can just keep adding to it as funds...

Re: Korg Monotron

I bought one for my daughter for her third birthday last year. It's a real analogue synth and sounds it, does the wibbly noises like a champ. Great for the price, but doesn't really replace my modular synth!

OK Zin, sounds good, I guess when you have too many sub-forums things do start to become a little unwieldy.

Re: Introduce yourself

Crowley hello! if you have time please get involved with this: http://www.witch-house.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=475 :) Yeah, I saw that thread already! I've been reading Crowley since 1983, so in a way everything I do is very much influenced by his work. I don't have to time to make a new ...

Re: other W H artists on the board

I've been in bands since 1988 and making electronic music since 1992. I wouldn't really describe any of it as Witch House, although I think some of it might be of interest to people on this forum. Most of my output in the last twelve years has been ambient, dark ambient, drone and krautrock inspired...

Re: What can be changed / improved ?

I'd like to see a section dedicated to some of the philosophical issues raised by the genre, a place to discuss Aleister Crowley, Robert Anton Wilson, Twin Peaks, Rave Culture, Terence McKenna, Austin Osman Spare, Chaos Magick, Kenneth Grant, occult symbolism, Qabala etc. Also, a separate section wh...

Re: Coil

Not surprised to find Coil mentioned in this section! My favourite band of all time, without a doubt, they have had an incredible influence on me, both personally, and musickally. I recently mastered Danny Hyde's new "Svay Pak" EP, which is well worth a listen! http://auralrage.com/svaypak...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hey all, I'm Gregg, a mastering engineer from the UK, but I have spent the last 12 years in Japan. I'll soon be re-locating to Milan in Italy. I'm an old school Goth (especially FOTN and Christian Death), but also a huge fan of Krautrock, Dub, Coil, Crowley, AOS, Grant etc. I'd really like to get mo...
