thanks. i had the feeling that at least some of the people who listen to salem obsessively are melancholy in nature. its true that not all their music is sad, but in my opinion skullcrush and krawl are the only two positive or "upbeat" sounding tracks that have been officially released.

sometimes it made it worse like it would make me start crying but being someone who found it hard to cry the release was a good thing. other times i felt relief by hearing the sadness in the music because i felt less alone and knew that someone else had felt the same way that i had. most of the time...

tried killing myself to salem three times; once to haunches once to year of the bull and once to oftentimes (although i realize year of the bull is just a dragged version of a no age track. still a beautiful song though). two overdoses and one bath tub electrocution but they all (obviously) failed. ...

off the LP Killer would be my favourite. out of the EPs i would say Deepburn. btw Radical, is little baby ratta a completely different song to baby ratta?

does anyone hear "its just a dream, its all lie" in hound at around 1.27 and a few times through out the song after that chorus bit with the heavy loud synths?
