Re: garageband????!!!!!! OR: ardour??
Talking about Ardour, is a very complete DAW, much professional, hard to learn but powerful. Rocks if you have lots of LADSPA plugins. The important thing about the software is to know how to use it, and like it. I've seen some great things from hell simple software.

Re: live performances
I was using Ableton Live on the stage and even without a controller (just a midi keyboard), was sick. I was making all the songs just on it and mapped the keyboard from my pc, so, all the synthesizers could be modified on the fly, was amazing. Now I'm using other "linear sequencing" softwa...

Re: Finding witch-y samples
If you use soulseek try using these search keys to find personal recordings from portable devices "ste mp3" - "ste wav" - "dr0000" - "micin.dir" WOW! How I never thought of it before? Very cool idea. My tip: some sites assemble public domain content. The rest...

Re: for those working with DAWs- your preferred vSTs
I can't recommend TAL's plugins enough. TAL Uno-62 is a superb Juno emulation. He bassline (SH-101) plugin is sick too. His effects are awesome, and most are free (except for the UNO-LX, which is definitely worth the money). I had some problems (an bug in the volume control) with Uno-62, so I never...

Re: Program to make witch house
I think that most important than the program, as TR∆PZ said, is to know how to use the program. Read the fucking manual.
