Re: Witch-House.com compilation PART 3 - theme
what about rewriting the music to an okkvlt film or an exorcism film. or having one of the more story telling talented wh forum people write an okkvlt/exorcism/etc story and we write the music to that. each producer clarifies which section of the story his music is too. and the best for each sectio...

Re: Witch-House.com compilation PART 3 - theme
I am in favor of themes as it encourages people to write music specifically for the compilation. Re: Drag Edits
depends what you are trying to do. For modern techno / house / 4 to the floor stuff Ableton can be pretty useful at detecting the BPM. If it is this kind of stuff try unwarping it and then warping it again. So anything with live drums that weren't recorded to a click, well it won't have a steady bpm...

Re: Justin Broadrick
Possession by God had a profound effect on me when I first heard it in 1998 or so. Someone stole my copy and in 2002 I think I payed like £20 for it second hand. Imagine that! £20 for a CD?! But yeah, Godflesh / Ice are amazing. I could never get into Jesu, I loved the heavy shoegaze vibe, but the a...
