I've yet to download Nova's kit, but normally when I make kits they either have the midi files for the melodies I used, or individually recorded loops of the various instruments and samples I used in the track.

I really started digging it when the vocals came in, and the old school beat you sampled is bangin'. The atmospheres are also really sweet, but it feels like the beat and the initial repeating sound clip could be varied up a bit, I know that beat sounds especially filthy when cut it up and rearrange...

I whole heartedly agree. It's unbelievably awesome to be able to interact directly with producers, I learn so much just from reading what people have to say on these boards, and man oh man, so many freebies. My collection has doubled in the last week.
