The Salem Detroit show was amazing....... missed Silk Flowers but got there just in time to see Moon Pool and Dead Band. Contrary to the above comment, these guys were great, played a dominant electronic set, not house, think Dopplereffekt or Drexciya. Salem's set however was kinda short, but for the energy they brought the noise, not to mention an amazing visual show. So quick question what was the first song that Jack flowed to? It was right after that amazing intro. It is actually on the video below? And if you went to the Chicago show what was the deal with the guy yelling? For those of you that have yet to see Salem, rest assured they have matured as a band so much since the 2010 SXSW debacle. Cheers! :D

I'll have a dark grey coat, pale grey hoodie, jeans, work boots and reddish viking beard. I'll be with one or two friends.

I do hope they have some merch. I'd buy a few vinyls.

The dc show tonight was great. They did about 45 minutes, a similar set to what I have seen posted from other shows. The crowd was a bit small for the supposed hype surrounding them, maybe 50 people there. I loved the light show, though the excessive fog made my nose hurt.

God I wished there were only 50 persons to their show last friday!

It was SOLD OUT in Montreal and SOOOO crowded!!!
Like it would have been impossible to see them if I were not in the first rows!
(and it sucked they actually werent playing on a real stage)

Maybe it was the fact that Godspeed was playing in dc as well... Or maybe we (baltimore included, I live between the two cities) arent as cool as Canada, yet ;)
I did dig the non crowd, I hate crowded shows.

Also hated the no merch... what the hell?

At least we do have a real stage at the Rock and Roll Hotel.

Yeah Mtl was crowded. people kept arriving in the front from the sides pushing back people that were originally in front of the stage. I was almost at the front at the beginning and ended almost in the back. was too crowded, I left after the set with a friend to see another show (Milanku, cool depressive post metal) with my bro.

Wasn't that impress with Salem. Massive sound and cool lights but when the lights were off with all the smoke we couldn't see much but shadows. was okay, I'm glad I saw it, the vibe was cool and people were into it.

The opener song was really cool
