Good vocal filters. Help me

So my vocals are all boring and shitty, i want some sweet filters on them, any suggestions at all? preferably using flstudio, audacity or some freeware that i can easily get my paws on.

MDA have free bundle of vst plugins
some of these are quite useful

oh hey, i know your problem, i have a heavy jazz backround(before i started to play darker, electronic stuff), and my jazzed up vocals really just sounde dlike shit. so what i do is use pitch shifters to ge some deep, thick tones that can really go a long ways without singing too many notes ;)

I've heard of tuning copied vocal tracks to create chords. Never tried it, but, always wanted to. Sounds like a good Idea in theory.

I use a lot of chorus, reverbs and compressors and twitching knobs you can get to really good sounds for vocals.
