I started with FL Studio as well and made the jump to Ableton Live just recently, and quite easily. I found that a lot of the things I wanted to do in FL that I thought weren't possible without third party plug-ins are able to be done using Ableton's built in library of plug-ins.
If you're able to get around the fact (if you even have to) that it's a live sequencer and you have to actually record everything, you should be fine.

Yeah, I found the sequencer, and it really works well for me. I really love that it waits a bar before it switches tracks, it's really fucking great.

You can change that, too. You can set it to next 1/8th note, 1/16th, etc.Ray wrote:Yeah, I found the sequencer, and it really works well for me. I really love that it waits a bar before it switches tracks, it's really fucking great.
