Copying artists is just wrong so work out your own style.
- Find a DAW - maybe Ableton Live, FL Studio, Cubase, LMMS (google it)?
- Find some tutorials for your DAW and learn basics of music theory.
- Read this forum, check the other threads.

Honestly, that site seems shit to me. It's rather a toy than proper music software. Get a real DAW.

I think it is not. I learnt a lot by trying to copy certain songs. In the end, I never managed to really copy the song, due to my lack of skills and understanding of music theory.

Here's the thing. While you are trying to copy a song, you'll have to think hard how to achieve a certain sound or effect. By doing this you will really improve your music skills, and in the future it will be easier to make your ideas (the music in your head) come to life.

So you can try to copy an artist, and you will fail, but you will learn a lot.

study certain songs, their technique, theory, different starting points, elements they use, focus. that's what i do. but i'm still practicing on the actual "production" part.

also i recommend acid music studio, abelton, garage band, logic pro...,.,.,.,.
something more professional
my music is like a gothic forest rave, with minotaur lords sipping tea, sirens making out with satyrs and dryads ridding fauns that play with knives and fire.
