Recording vocals

Im starting up a pretty witchy project (I guess "band" is a better term) with a guitar player that I know, and as a vocalist (and producer) I was wondering what any of you guys' tips and/or tricks may be when it comes to recording vocals. How lo-fi do you get? are you into pitch shifting? feedback, yay or nay? what types of reverb plug ins you use, if any at all? Im also interested in what sort of mics/interfaces or any other sort of recording devices you may use.

thank you for reading

I'd personally drown the vocals in reverb then add a lowpass filter, then I'd add multiple delay tools set to different rates but all really light just to give the impression of vocals echoing from distances. I'd also use a compressor
