Sony Acid, Sound Forge And Vegas install help

[Paradise Lost]

just got a new laptop and none of these programs will install. They are not pirated, although someone kindly copied them for me.

Anyway, I am on windows 7, 64 bit and I get an error message of "Sony Windows Preloader has stopped working or something. .

I'm really anxious to get back into it. I'm either looking for solutions to the problem or alternative programs to look into while I try to solve the problem..
