GHXST is a NYC darkwave trio consisting of brothers Chris & Nathan and their female counterpart, Shelley. They play dark, brooding, and aggressive noise-tinged riffs that are typically accompanied by spaced out vocals and tribal pounding percussion. They've played from NYC to San Francisco and aren't stopping anytime soon.
"Evil After Hours" is a complete reconstruction of their first self-released EP, "Evil's Wasted On You" (which is available for free on their Bandcamp page). The reconstruction, which has been in progress since May of this year, was done by Tundra label boss and producer Ghoul. The remixes, refixes, or whatever you call them, range from House-y bounces all the way to the slowed down, dragged out sound that you've come to associate with Tundra and its cohorts.
