May I ask why you don't want to add it to bandcamp ? Don't worry with the refund.

We are trying to grow and reach more ears.

Bandcamp is too easy to take the music from. With entire song previews you can record it onto your computer very easily. I would be a fool to believe this will stop music from becoming pirated. I know nothing can truly stop that.

We get so many "likes" but not many purchases. Now do not get me wrong. It is not about money. But it is about my artist getting what they deserve as we see their music as an individual works of art that they have invested their heart and soul into and that has worth. As for the label itself if we can cover cost for music hosting on the many sites we use as well as productions cost and break even then that is all we need. Or Pale Noir cannot continue. I am not rich and am doing it all on my own. My day job is only enough for my personal life.

Pale Noir is a passion of mine and a truly beautiful place that enables myself and many others to have a home for creating what we truly love. And if we can find others out there that enjoy what we are doing that is also worth every minute of our efforts.

I love doing this but support is needed. And per artist request we want to grow by using bigger outlets to more ears such as itunes etc...

Hope that helps. Sorry for the long rant.

I get what you are saying, and I can appreciate your intentions. However, BandCamp is designed to help the artists and labels without middle-man hands in the pot [unless you go over the bandwidth limitations] It is completely customizable, you can have preview tracks of what you want, disable the ones you don't [aka hide tracks]. You can list certain songs on the page but have the whole album available with a download. Plus you get multiple choices of formats. On top of all of that, you can put together booklet artwork by uploading art to each track-plus a cover. It's all win win. Amazon and iTunes are very limited-even though you have the chance to grab a larger audience, you are given them less choices and it is not near as thoughtful.

FYI- you can also set up promo codes to send to reviewers and DJ's. Saves your bandwidth and makes a very professional offer. And no, I do not work for them..lol I have just been using BC to promote and release my music for a couple years now.
