with pleasure

Kragmaster Flex, like most people, grew up in a house full of music. His parents were quite fond of music, it was literally everywhere. In fact, The Kragmaster's first memory was actually, in real life, listening to music, whilst, believe it or not, physically trying to escape the vast and quite frankly terrifying amount of music his parents had collected and just left carelessly around their normal working class home. As a teenager he followed his birthright into collecting as much music as he possibly could, his parents, so swollen with pride, unfortunately literally burst because of it. Kragmaster, now an orphan retreated into his music collection seeking solace and comfort. But lo! there was no comfort, for the music was not made of soft comforty things like hair, breasts or feathers. No, was waxy, plasticy and often would come with sharp corners which would disturb his sleep. At 21 the "Flexmeister" began to DJ in order to keep him in nice warm blankets. Mostly he kept quiet, occasionally looking up to see what was happening, but this would often lead to disappointment. Seas of people having a good time whilst he, like some depressed jukebox would pump out hit after hit, hoping death would snatch him soon too.

Unfortunately this lead to a prolonged series of residencies. Through despair, he turned his hand to production, which, as it turned out, was pretty lucrative. Frustrated he took a hammer to his own right hand. This led to many of his fans repeating the same thing, an exclusive club, known online as "Kregs" - They meet once a year in a casino in Las Vegas, Kreg Meet 2011 was hosted by Billy Bob Thornton (a long time fan of his deep grooves)

2012 will be a big year, the forthcoming album is so eagerly anticipated, rumour has it Resident Advisor had to go offline for 3 hours when a soundcloud link was leaked earlier in spring. Flexy, as his fans sometimes call him, has been cagey about the details. But let's believe why not that he can do it. Do it for his burst parents and with a busted hand, aye?
