Honestly, I'm not feeling it that much. It's a bit too long, I'd rather drop all the edits/remixes, and compile just your own tracks, even if it'd have to be an EP. Synths sound very 80s-like, IMO they should be dipped a bit in dark, grime atmospherics, because, at least to me, the whole record sounds quite 'positive'. Just like on your previous self-titled release, my fav track is the last one. I sort of like what you did on "Rivet" but the track itself stands out from the whole concept of the album... At the end of the day, it's just my opinion:)

Well, your criticisms are of that which I had intended to create:
An 80's experimental synthpop record, with elements of Witch House (but not entirely).
The remixes and 'edits' are in this release for a good reason, for the instrumentals for them are completely original pieces, making it closer to a cover song than a simple 'edit'.
The entire format was influenced by the two LP releases by Crystal Castles, where the records are often mostly sound collages of original instrumentation, and voices and/or lyrics of other bands.
I thank you for the acknowledgment of those elements.
I do already have one blogger that reviewed it, and what he said can be read in the following link:

My fault then, I was trying too much to find the dark Witchy sound there ;) I'm gonna shut up and listen again;)

Abraxas is the only zxz ive heard. i picked it up from a tumblr post probabbly made by someone from here, and i really enjoyed it. I prefer the "dark witchy" aswell but zxz has an awesome synth pop/dance vibe. and there seemed to be some madonna worship which i like
