does anyone hear "its just a dream, its all lie" in hound at around 1.27 and a few times through out the song after that chorus bit with the heavy loud synths?

Those seem to be correct, but so do these:

I can't help but hear it now that you wrote it down. Sadly that's how brain works, those misheard lyrics are a proof that once you read something you'll keep hearing it.

Changes from week to week.
I have this Salem addictions for quite some time now. I think it all started with Teen Queen, I just kept listening to it on repeat for a few days straight, in the car, outside, at work, I was so consumed by that song.

Redlights was probably the second one, later on Killer, I could go on and just write down every Salem song ever performed. I'm proud to be Release Da Board free for a week or so, the addiction is finally gone. Now Trapdoor/Haunches haunt my days.

But if I was forced to pick just one right now, I'd go for Down 2da river. Hands fucking down.
I'm really hoping an album version appears somewhere sometime in the future, I'd buy the shit out of it.

tried killing myself to salem three times; once to haunches once to year of the bull and once to oftentimes (although i realize year of the bull is just a dragged version of a no age track. still a beautiful song though). two overdoses and one bath tub electrocution but they all (obviously) failed. theyre the epitome of melancholy music for me. pure aural despair. when i read that john was a coke head prostitute, or see those photos of jack crying and heather looking lifeless, i think those things totally reflect in their sound. they also escorted me through my ice, heroin and alcohol addiction, aside from periods where my depression, anxiety and borderline personality made things very difficult. break ups, come downs, hospitalizations, all of that shit; salem were there. its cool to have people to talk to who are equally obsessed because it makes me feel a bit less insane.

Did listening to SALEM make things worse, or did it actually help you move passed the bad shit?

sometimes it made it worse like it would make me start crying but being someone who found it hard to cry the release was a good thing. other times i felt relief by hearing the sadness in the music because i felt less alone and knew that someone else had felt the same way that i had. most of the time this was the case (it made me feel better). i also felt like my depression had a soundtrack and that made me feel less empty
