For starters.

In my opinion, most of the "witch house" scene is completely ignorant of the original industrial music as well as the aforementioned occult music pioneers; who arguably influenced this genre at least somewhat. Maybe people don't care. But they should! No recent artist (or any artist in my opinion) can shake a stick at Coil.

some people making "witch house" now are actually just making old school influenced industrial, and i think a lot of the major people are aware of it.. but since a lot of people never were into it, the ones being marketed to, they think it's super hot & new!

That's one of the main attractions of witch house to me

i think it's great if it is opening people up to those directions and welcoming people already coming from them, along with all the other things it's doing.
