Turn/edit a song to witch-house? ( GarageBand)

I think some mainstream songs are really witchy and dark magicky.

Like I've low pitched " Madonna - get together "

It becomes a woman taunting someone :p

Anyways I also am thinking about some other beats or options to make it really witch-house but not like

"▼□■□■□■" who just low pitch stuff tastelessly

They did "Madonna - frozen and Kesha etc.

Anyway I need simple GarageBand editing suggestions to turn a song to witch house.

The thing I do is

"low pitch it" and " reverb" it

But it's too simple

You'd probably be better off simply pitching down the acapella (the vocal track) of the song. This would allow you to write your own instrumentals for it and produce something unique.

Along with pitching down and add verb, delay can be really neat.

Distorting things to the point of near shit then blending them in with a cleaner sounding version can sound sweet. Then mix between the two as the song progresses. If in doubt just go over the top first and work back from there.

Obviously my outstanding commercial success has proved that this tactic works a treat.

haha, "turning a song into witch-house", don't you mean dragging a song?

this seems as good a place as any to mention that i'm planning a half-assed 'industrial-drag' mixtape thing with songs from nine inch nails, marilyn manson, everything goes cold, and chemlab, among others.

I always lower the pitch by a % ratio, eg 25% or 50% because then the notes are the same, just an octave or two lower, meaning you can add your own melodies etc.

Also, it makes it easier to find the tempo from the original. Aaaaand if you wanna go dancey, learn how to use "sidechain compression" - it's great little technique.

Just some hints ;)
