I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but WITCH HOUSE IS OVER. I'm so done with this garbage. #seapunk is where it's at. Witch House is so 2009, there's no way of getting around it. See yall at the board at #seapunk.com

wait yah check out some of millionz of those ultrademon mixtapes out there-- theyre good but i recognize like a fraction of whats on em.

How is this any different than chill wave?

It's like someone just took the net.art tumblr fueled 'paradise' aesthetic and slapped it on chillwave tracks and called it seapunk.

I mean I guess there are some witch house influences like down tuned voices. I've always seen chillwave and witch house as light/dark sides of the same coin. Both are cheaply produced synth pop cranked out on the internet chasing after an aesthetic. Maybe seapunk is sort of a marriage of the two.
