Fvcking awesome record, a total must for early 2010 Witch House era fan. Sound-wise, think White Ring and Fostercare mixed together. Can't wait to get the vinyl. Recommended!

Mellow Grave vinyl available in UK's Boomkat:

**Strictly Limited White Vinyl** Mellow Grave make a shadowy entry to cult of W*tch House with their debut album making the upgrade from cassette to vinyl. 'Smoke Filled The Room, We Left' is one of the better contributions to this maligned genre, and safely fileable with the Salem, Fostercare and Mater Suspiria Vision bits in the corner of your lightless, suffocatingly stuffy basement lair. They cannily check off all the right attributes - skinny, tinny crunk rolls, '80s horror synths, hollow-cheeked vocals and post-punk misanthropy - but it's the rickety, psychedelic compositional flux which is their most striking and individual element, seeming as if each track is sometimes only held together with a few rizlas and sugary drinks residue and about to crumble into a blank-eyed heap. For the current wave fiends, this is a strong record.

Upload from WITCH HOUSE TV:

Still can't get over how incredible this album is. I miss Mellow Grave so much, they had a return scheduled, but it sort of fizzled out years ago.

Btw, I spoke to Jason from Living Tapes about this album some years ago, mainly to confirm how many copies were pressed on vinyl (500 pressed - 400 white and 100 black). He said that originally the white was the limited colour until he discovered that there was a mix up at the plant and the black was the real limited record.
