Mushy's side is a fuzzy mix psych-shoegaze and ethereal witchy vocals a'la Zola Jesus, her tracks will definitely appeal to anyone looking for that ritual rock/witch house fusion of the early 2010s. "Tonight" is the only exception, with more acoustic, avant-folky strumming paired with drowsy vocals. Diego from D4D on the other hands starts straight away with a wall of noise and drones, very black and spooky shit. "Faiairr" represents lo-fi witch house at its best, spare drums, fucked up synths, barely intelligible vox - perfect creepy track. "6 Cassettes" feels like trying to get through a thick, rat-infested sewers under a metropolis, love it! The final track is back on the witchy path, with a subtle dungeon synth stamp all over it. I feel like overally it's a grossly slept on release, and prob D4D's best.
