This is the best band to come out of Russia. I'm willing to die on this hill. The moment I heard the opening track of this CD, I was floored; I wasn't expecting sinogrime (à la Fatima Al Qadiri) on a witch house record. But Snovidej has proven time and time again that his songwriting is immaculate. The songs draw from a variety of influences, from harsh and brooding witch house to dark, syrupy rap to melodic synth bangers. While it feels more like a collection of tracks than an attempt at album-like storytelling, it's a brilliant showcase of skill nevertheless. 100% recommended!
