Oh I'd definitely listen to them. I don't believe in hoarding music formats and not using them. Sure, keep them as pristine as possible, but use them for their intended purpose.

If I like an album a lot you can guarantee I'll end up with at least for or five copies of it in different formats and play them all.

I grew up on tapes and I love them. I always open them when I get one, if not play it as well. Drives the collectors crazy haha
