What is the common element between Italo Disco, soundtracks of the 80s, Synth Pop and New Wave? The answer can be only one: Antoni Maiovvi. Born in Bristol and now based in Berlin, the Maiovvi's tracks are a perfect balance between sadness and euphoria. His EP reserved to Sauroid is a trip into the past, the present and the future, a kind of exposure of analog equipments with their epic and unmistakable sounds. The package is precious also for the remixes made by Hyboid (Astro Chicken), Keen K (Das Drehmoment, Perfect Stranger Records, Radio Cosmos, Dominance Electricity) and Vast & Bulbous (the resident DJs and promoters at I Feel Space, in Bristol). Definitely an explosion of analog memories into cosmic nostalgia.

It is available in digital format and in CDr (limited edition, hand numbered, with artwork on photographic paper and cd in vinyl-layout).

This was my attempt at doing a very pop / cosmic disco crossover, complete with victory rock moments, lots of outboard effect processing and as many original synths as I could get my hands on.
