Works in a cassette player like a cassette, holds mp3s and micro SD, and can stream via bluetooth. I've seen a few artists put out special editions on these as well.

Some of my favourite DAW plugins are cassette emulators, I use one for tape hiss and saturation and another one for tape transport sounds.
