I think I initially found out about this release through a blog post somewhere advertising Crossover's discography. The CD came with a zine and a pair of earings. I got lucky because Dez eventually found a spare copy of the CD and sold it to me in 2012 (without the bonus bits). I swear I do not recall being it advertised much in 2010, but both CDX and Dez confirmed it, and told me the release date was indeed July 30, 2010. Long story short, a few years ago Crossover totally wiped out their presence from the internet, so trying to track back anything now is a massive pain.this the cdr of Mater Suspiria Vision Ghost Drone/Drag remixes that came with the Crossover Pirate Communique VOL. TWO #2 "THE GLOOM ISSUE"... seven exclusive tracks, only 100 coples made.
The album itself is a real gem, the remixes are excellent, dragged out, ethereal songs that sound nothing like Crossover. My personal fav is the opening remix of "Dark Blue", feels oddly familiar, like some forgotten pop gem, yet I know it's an edit. MSV actually released it as a promo single in May '10.
