New York's duo Blissed Out were all over the place during their reign, from avant-noise makers to electro-improv sessions (i.e. on their debut vinyl Secrets). But "White Triangle" seems to adapt to the mood of the era it was created in. Industrial, minimal techno and breakbeats mixed with hazy hypnagogic vocals a'la Pocahaunted, all streamlined through lo-fi channel, sound so distant from what witch house has become, but also oddly familiar - especially the first half of the tape. One for the curious heads.
