Originally released on tape (limited to 50 copies) by I Had an Accident Records, this was first of the two tapes he did for this label. "Shadow" came out fairly early in BC's career but he was already surfing on the top of his wave. Also I feel like it's less depending on vocal samples, in comparison with his later albums, and instead it's focusing on building instrumental atmospheres. The stalker vibe of "Shvdes" is immaculate and (good) creepy. Solid album from start to finish.
