Hex Wolves is the alter ego of Ben Thompson, previously known as D/SIR , who was also a member of Cursed Chimera. As D/SIR he dropped some great stuff via Pale Noir and Phantasma Disques, but retired the project a few years ago. As Hex Wolves Ben's work feels more underground club-friendly, often leaning towards techno and industrial territories. "Lowest Domain" is an industrial-flavoured ominous bass mutation that perfectly evokes the feeling of anxiety that Peele's "US" induces, particularly the middle act. Paired with two remixes from V▲LH▲LL (more melodic take on the original, and also feels the most WH out of the three) and Circle Six (creepy post-industrial edit), the whole release is a great starting point for anyone unfamiliar with Ben's work.
